Established in 2009, the Babylon Trust is an independent, voluntary organisation that aims to provide a range of facilities in response to community needs.

The Babylon Trust aims to offer and support young people through careers and education. A pivotal time in any person’s life, we believe that it is within these critical years that an individual can set the foundations for the rest of his or her life.

Coming up with a range of facilities and activities, Babylon Trust is able to guide and direct young people in discovering their paths. The methods we encourage include:

  • Leadership Programmes
  • Communication Courses
  • Trips & Youth Camps
  • Skills development

  • Careers Advice
  • Workshops & Seminars

  • Welfare Information and Advice
  • Providing Job Opportunities

A key feature that underlines the work we carry out is social activities. Aimed at empowering the youth, activities held will be a mixture of both physical and educational. We seek to develop skills, capacities and capabilities in order to enable the youth to increase their development in becoming independent, mature and responsible adults. Social interaction brings people together and helps reveal a person’s true potential. People forget their negatives and begin to see their positives in life allowing the individual to become more aware of their real self.

At the Trust we believe when an individual becomes more at ease they become happier and relaxed and therefore feel more successful. Expectations are then raised in a positive atmosphere and in turn encourage creativity. Social activities also deal with the emotional aspect of a person’s life and Babylon Trust believes that this can help an individual deal with the inevitable twists life throws at them.
